      β–Ά
These are the trading-behavior rules Apex checks during payout review. This is the simplified version.
      Contract Scaling Rule
Trade only within the contract limits for your account size. Exceeding the limit results in denial.
Example: On a 50k PA you're allowed 5 minis until passing trailing DD + $100. Using 8 minis before qualifying β†’ scaling violation β†’ payout denied.

30% Consistency Rule (Windfall Rule) β€” Automatically Checked
Your largest winning day cannot exceed 30% of your total accumulated profit. This prevents payouts based on one oversized day instead of consistent performance.
      Example:
Total profit: $1,000 β†’ max allowed winning day = $300
      Largest winning day = $450 β†’ Fails
      Largest winning day = $250 β†’ Passes

30% Negative P&L Rule (Maximum Adverse Excursion)
No trade may exceed 30% of start-of-day profit in open negative P&L.
      Example: Start-of-day profit: $4,000 β†’ MAE limit = $1,200.
Low/new profit accounts use 30% of the trailing threshold.
If EOD profit > 2Γ— safety net β†’ MAE becomes 50% next session.
      Static: Below $2,600 β†’ MAE = $187.50. Above $2,600 β†’ MAE = 30%.

      5:1 Risk–Reward Ratio Rule
Your stop loss cannot be significantly larger than your profit target. Apex requires that your stop be no more than 5 times your target.
      Examples:
      Target $100, Stop $700 β†’ 7Γ— target β†’ Fails
      Target $100, Stop $500 β†’ 5Γ— target β†’ Passes
      Target $200, Stop $900 β†’ 4.5Γ— target β†’ Passes

      Hedging Rule
You cannot be long and short at the same time on the same or correlated markets.
Example: Long ES + Short MES β†’ hedging β†’ violation.

      One Direction Rule
Apex requires you to trade in one direction at a time. You can be long or short, but not both at once. You also cannot use a strategy that places active entry orders on both sides of the market at the same time.
Exit orders (profit targets and stop-losses) are allowed. The restriction only applies to strategies that attempt to work both sides of the market simultaneously.
      Examples:
β€’ Long ES β†’ using sell orders to close the long = Allowed
β€’ Short NQ β†’ using buy orders to close the short = Allowed
β€’ Long ES + Short MES at the same time = Not allowed
β€’ Having active buy AND sell entry orders on the same market = Not allowed
